If you’re interested in book editing services and don’t know where to start, I recommend you begin with a manuscript review.

What is a Manuscript Review?

A manuscript review is an overall assessment of your manuscript that focuses primarily on highlighting aspects of the story that still need improvement. This helps me determine what type of editing your book needs.

What does this service include?

  • An initial strategy call on Zoom where we meet to talk about your book, and what your vision for it is.
  • A full in-depth read through of your manuscript.
  • A written editorial letter where I assess the manuscript and provide observations and suggestions that can help you improve the story. At the end of the letter, I suggest what type of editing I recommend for your manuscript.
  • A second phone call on Zoom where we can address your questions about the editorial letter and proposed next steps.

How does it work?

The process to get on my wait list for a manuscript review is:

  • Answer a survey for me about your book. This will help me assess if you and I are the right fit. Fill out the survey here.
  • Schedule initial strategy Zoom call. The link to do so will be provided to you by email. The purpose of the call is to get to know you more and talk both about your book and your vision for it.

How much does it cost?

This service has a flat fee of $500, with an upfront payment of 25%. Invoices will be sent to you through Found. If you are paying in Mexican Pesos (MX), the amount on the invoice will be based on the currency rates of the day the invoice is created.
